Walking, but not boating.
Frustrating times as I haven't really been in my boat in the 3 weeks I've been back from Uganda, and am extremely jealous hearing reports of people paddling on big waves in warm places. As usual there have been some fantastic water levels, but each time these have occured when I have been working/away. At the moment, bizarrely, I'm hoping it will stop raining soon!
I have the prototype 'Dagger Agent' which I haven't got on the water yet, hopefully this week I'll get a chance to take it out.
I walked up Snowden on Saturday with a group of 14 other girls on a 'hen do'. I hate walking, but I did actually enjoy myself! It was a bit chilly at the top so the jacuzzi and sauna that followed later were particularly welcoming. Being in a sport like kayaking, all-girl activities don't happen very often, it was good fun for a change. Well done to the girls that carried the bottles of champers up the mountain!
